Ann Arbor is home to one of the biggest and most prestigious universities in the world, as well as the most educated city in the country. Sometimes, as a high school student growing up there, you can feel a lot of pressure because of this and you’re certainly not alone if you find this overwhelming. If you’ve got your sights set on going to UM, but haven’t gotten the score you want on your pre ACTs, our ACT tutoring in Ann Arbor can be your saving grace to help you get the score that you want!
Thousands and thousands of students flock from all around the country to attend U of M, and many of them find that they like it so much, that they don’t want to leave. The city has become a hotbed for technology startups and other businesses, and continues to grow exponentially. This is great for the city and business, but unfortunately, this often means that schools are getting crowded and resources are being stretched thin, especially teachers’ time.
If you find that your school isn’t giving you the time and attention you need to help you with the ACT, it’s probably time to get started with Ann Arbor ACT tutoring. The ACT is such an important part of college admissions and can be the deciding factor if you’re a competitive candidate in terms of GPA and other parts of your admissions. It can even help you stand out more if you’re below the average admitted student in these areas; I was when I applied to college and my SAT score set me apart and put me over the edge. If you’re feeling confident about all this but don’t really know where to go with your college applications, we also have fantastic college counseling tutors who are ready and eager to help!

To be sufficient in a subject is to be able to perform the problems assigned to you. To be proficient in a subject is to be able to perform any problem that could be assigned to you, or at least tackle them adequately. In our fast-paced society, more times than not, students are educated just to be sufficient in a subject. My intent as a tutor is to educate a student to master that subject -- to be proficient in ... See more

Deciding between the SAT and ACT can be one of the biggest decisions you can make in you college application process. We recommend that you take both the PSAT and the pre ACT and decide which one you feel more comfortable with. Because the two are such different tests, it’s not a good idea to try and take both, rather you should focus on the one you’re comfortable with and try to raise your score as much as possible. If you feel that the ACT isn’t for you, and it certainly isn’t for everybody, you might be better served with one of our incredible Ann Arbor SAT tutors.
The ACT certainly seems trivial when you’re preparing for it and you may feel as though you can forget about all the material after you walk out of the classroom after a 6 hour long test. However many students don’t realize that the skills you learn preparing for the test are invaluable when it comes to succeeding in college. It’s a very good idea to hold onto these skills after you take the test and through your senior year in order to have the best transition into college as you can. Everyone from Tom Brady to Charles Woodson had to do very well on their ACTs to get the opportunity to play at UM despite everything else they had going for them, so it's important to get as good of a score as you can by getting set up with ACT tutors in Ann Arbor.
All of our Ann Arbor ACT tutors are only the most experienced individuals who know what it takes to succeed. We require each tutor to hold at least a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years experience, so you can be sure you’re dealing with a college educated pro that knows their stuff. They will develop detailed lesson plans and help you follow them, ensuring you will reach your goals on time and at a level you think is your best work. When you call a member of our friendly sales team, they will take down your preferences such as level of experience, availability, personality traits, etc. and match you with a great tutor who will make sure you get the most out of your Ann Arbor ACT tutoring.
