Hi,
My name is Christi. I have done 3 years of full-time teaching on the Navajo Reservation in 3rd grade plus many years as a guest teacher in the Franklin Pierce School District in grades K-5.
I like ti find out which way students learn best (whether is by hearing, visually, or a more hands-on approach) and use that to help them learn in a way that is both easier and more fun for them. I am familiar with varying curricula and am very creative in finding ways to break learning down into smaller steps that are more manageable so the student does not feel overwhelmed.
In the last 11 years I have been working as a nanny and have been using my teaching background, knowledge, experience, and skills to help prepare Pre-K children for entrance into Kindergarten.
