About Michelle

I graduated from New Mexico Highlands University with a Bachelors in Chemistry and minor in English Writing. I have several years of tutoring experience through my college. I began as a math tutor and later became a Supplemental Instruction Leader for Calculus and Organic Chemistry courses. I have worked with college and high school students at all levels of subject comprehension. I also have a passion for writing and editing. I have edited works for many other students and would love to continue to do so on this site.

I am patient and fun. I enjoy joking with my students to create a comfortable learning environment. I believe in student-led sessions, allowing the students to be dynamic participants in their learning. I love hands-on, active studying, incorporating practice problems, concept overview, and open discussion. I have seen many students thrive in this educational environment and I hope to work with others to see them also succeed.

Some of my outside interests are watching movies (especially at the theatre), eating at new restaurants, and online shopping. Also, if you got any Netflix suggestions, let me know. :)
