Hi! My name is Kevin Bloom and I am a professional musician, graphic designer, and audio engineer.
I have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Vermont in English with a focus in creative writing, and a Double-Minor in Computer Science and Music. I have over ten years of experience working with photoshop for physical and online graphic design, photo editing, and stop motion animation.
When I was in highschool, I studied George Russell's Lydian Chromatic Concept of Tonal Organization under Ben Schwendener at The Rivers School Conservatory which sparked my lifelong love of Music Theory. I am also an expert in ear training, song writing, and audio production. I co-founded and co-direct Leilani Sound, a collaborative music studio in Burlington, Vermont.
I live in Burlington, Vermont and I am excited to help every one of my students reach or exceed their goals. Outside of tutoring, I work as a profession artist working with audio, photography, and graphic design.
