Hello, I’m Christine, Please read about my skill sets and send any questions:
Experienced Teacher Pre-K thru Community College. Subjects: English, Science, Social Studies, Reading, Grammar, Creative Writing, World History, Art History, Geography, Psychology, Sociology, Spanish, French and German. I currently teach all of the Grad Levels for VIPKIDS. It is an English as a Second Language online teaching platform yet has age appropriate lessons in math, science, reading, social studies for elementary through high school grade levels. For 15 years in Mexico, I taught ESL as a volunteer and for non-profits. My initially training was with Roanoke Immigration and Refuge Service in 1997. I have over 20 years experience teaching academically and for physical fitness both private and group classes. (certified in yoga and Pilates) I know how to motivate students and keep them engaged in learning. I graduated with Honors from the University of Virginia in 1997. I understand discipline, hard work and reward. My trainings taught me to relate to many types of student personalities and backgrounds. I understand that individuals learn differently. I'm trained in methods to effectively communicate to all types of learners while encouraging them to do their personal best. I am also trained in how to keep online students engaged and motivated.
