I graduated Texas State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology. While in college I was a Supplemental Instructor (SI) where I would tutor college students in traditionally-difficult courses. Subjects I tutored were general chemistry 1 & 2, as well as organic chemistry 2. I am very proficient in the life science where I maintained a 3.6 GPA throughout my undergrad. I feel very comfortable teaching any subjects involving biology or chemistry, either at the high school or collegiate level. As well as tutoring science courses, I have experience tutoring students in middle school math, pre-algebra, and algebra. Alongside my tutoring experience, I was a student teacher the Fall of 2018, where I taught a high school biology course. Needless to say, I have experience tutoring students at all age ranges. My teaching philosophy is to ensure students learn their subjects at both a conceptual and practical level. Ensuring students are engaged by myself and their lesson plans will help accomplish that. So if you need help with homework, preparing for a quiz/exam, or in mastering a subject, please know my job is not complete until you reach the fullest of your abilities!
