ello! My name is Melissa Smith. I am delighted to have the opportunity to teach your child!

I am an elementary school teacher with a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education and also certified in early childhood education. I have taught 3 years in STEM classrooms teaching 3rd and 4th grade as well as general science education from K5 to 4th grade.

I love teaching a variety of subjects and have over 10 years of experience with children. However, my passion is teaching science! I also teach one-on-one tutoring sessions in reading and math through an online tutoring company. I have worked in multiple facets of education including public, private, and charter schools as well as in private day-cares.

I am very dedicated to provide a hands-on learning experience that will nurture your child's love for learning. My teaching style is kinesthetic and will provide engaging lessons that will foster inquiry.
