I have worked as a personal aide and teaching assistant for local school district for over four years now in special education. I have a son in special education at middle school where I currently work.
I have worked in elementary schools as well and really enjoy what I do. During the summer I primarily taught science up to fourteen year olds as well as many other subjects based on nature theme in a summer nature camp.
I have also used my training tutoring after school programs in elementary school setting.
I love to see students faces light up when they understand something they are learning. Teaching them new ways to do something.
