I am a Fordham at Lincoln Center senior graduating in May. I am earning my Bachelor's in Social Work, and a Minor in International Humanitarian Affairs. I currently have a 3.68 Cumulative GPA including all of my Core Curriculum requirements.
My strengths include history (from elementary school through college), social sciences (Psychology, Sociology), and English/Writing. In terms of math, my strengths are in elementary and middle school math, up through Algebra II. My strengths in college courses range from English to Political Science to Women's/Gender Studies and most social sciences.
I can provide transcripts from both college and high school education. I graduated in the top 10% of my high school with a 3.95 GPA. During my time, I took 11 Advanced Placement courses. I earned a score of 5 for both my Advanced Placement English and Composition exam and Advanced Placement English and Literature exam. I scored a 5 on the AP Psychology exam, and a 4 on AP European History, U.S. History, and Government & Politics. I passed my AP French, Art History, Calculus A/B, and other exams.
I have taken over six years of French and I have had the opportunity to apply it in foreign contexts during my travels. I enjoy making French relatable and fun. Most recently, I've been rereading the Harry Potter series in French.
I have excelled in English since I was a child. It is natural for me but I also am confident in my ability to make it accessible to someone else. I aim to make learning fun and understandable; to me, learning is the most important part. I am willing to work at the pace of the student and will do all I can to help them achieve their goals!
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions. If I am unfamiliar with a subject, I will be honest and upfront in telling you that.
