Hi there!

I’ve taught at some of the most fun companies in the world like Google/YouTube and Yahoo, but having spent the past year teaching English as a Second Language to students in China, I have to say, the best job is teaching young people. And that’s why I’m here--to meet you!

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Rutgers University, as well as a Masters in Theater from California State University, Los Angeles and a mini MBA from Rutgers University. A member of the Screen Actor’s Guild, I’ve been a theater professor and teacher, teaching acting and drama to age 3 through adults in Hollywood. English, film, journalism and public speaking are all subjects I’ve taught in public schools.

My lessons have been one-on-one; with as many people who could fit in the classroom; or virtually, throughout the entire world. I believe education should be tailored to fit the style of the learner. For example, I had a student who had a difficult time reading Shakespeare--until I gave him a copy of the comic book version (he was into drawing). And guess what? He was able to participate in discussions and do well on tests because he was able to do his work!
