I spent three years after college teaching math and AP psychology at a high school in Baltimore as a member of Teach for America. My favorite part of the job was always working one on one with students who were willing to put in the extra work necessary to succeed. I am now a third year medical student at Weill Cornell Medical College and would love to start working with students again. I have extensive experience teaching several levels of high school math (Algebra I/II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics), and also feel very comfortable with the sciences. In Baltimore, I also helped design curricular materials and taught an SAT prep class in a program for students interested in pursuing medicine, and our students saw on average a 300 point gain in their scores. I'd love to be the one to help your son or daughter succeed!
