I recently completed by undergrads in Sociology. Working with kids for over 7 years, I strongly believe that my instructional abilities, combined with my strong interpersonal skills and work ethic would greatly benefit this educational tutoring program. With over 4 years of classroom experience, and the desire to provide ALL students with an excellent education, I am also confident in my ability to be a valuable asset to your educational institute.
I also believe education is the key to success for young students. As an educator I hope to motivate students in asserting their inner strengths and abilities and discovering what truly inspires them. I aim to provide a stimulating learning environment which encourages students to trust their own opinion while fostering confidence for the students to be able to realize at their full potential.
Through my tutoring experiences thus far, I have found the method of facilitating rather than dictating to be a highly beneficial style of teaching. Tutoring students allowed me to discover that if the students contrast their own learning experiences they will not only retain information longer but also, they become confident in their own abilities. Being devoted to these assertions confirms that I have made the career choice for myself. I love working with children and will continue to strive to be a positive influence in their lives.
