I love to tutor math because I realize that it is somewhat scary for American students. I grew up in the Caribbean and developed a love for numbers, so much so that I did Math as my minor. I obtained my Bachelors in Liberal Arts with a Biology concentration from Saint Vincent College. I firmly believe that even though math is frustrating at times, it's a great feeling of success when problem are solved. My aim in tutoring to assist my students in building confidence in their math skills and confidence in problem solving, as well as breaking the constant need for a calculator.
