Hello! I am an environmental educator working with students from K-12 with a variety of outdoor science lessons from forest ecology, herpetology, stream ecology, fish biology, etc. During my term, I educated over 27,000 individuals about the Hudson River Estuary. I love teaching science but I also enjoy tutoring students in math. I currently tutor students from grades 2-9 in various math topics such as arithmetic, algebra and geometry.
I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. with Distinction (top 3% of graduating class) in Integrative Biology. Shortly after graduation, I was on a Fulbright Scholarship to do research on coral reef restoration where I went scuba diving in the Philippines!
I love learning and am excited for the opportunity to share my knowledge with others. Please feel free to contact me!
