About Vernon

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley and have 8 years of experience in teaching all ages. I have taught all ages through high school as a public school teacher.
I specialize in tutoring those who have writing problems, but also have extensive knowledge of U.S History.
I have spent 10 years working as a professional writer, writing for a newspaper for seven years and working as a copywriter for three.
I now work as a real estate agent and am finishing up my first book.
I am proof that anyone can become a great righter with just a little attention to detail. I remember my first semester at UC Berkeley when they stuck me in a remedial English class. Over 10 Nevada Press awards and one community award later I still feel I can improve.
Never the less, I feel I have come a long way since then and I truly believe anyone can be a great writer with a little work.
