I enjoy tutoring both in an online setting and face-to-face. I have over 10 years of teaching experience, most recently at local community college where I taught solar energy applications as well as managing the renewable energy degree program there. While with the college I created and taught courses that used SketchUp for solar design applications, where I taught students to create working drawings and 3D models of solar systems.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in renewable energy from New Mexico State University where I graduated with honors.
I started tutoring while in high school and have been helping others learn ever since. In addition to teaching, I have extensive engineering, design, construction and manufacturing experience having worked in the aerospace, automotive, building construction and solar industries. My specialties are 3D modeling using SketchUp, analysis using Excel, and using computers.
My broad and varied experience comes in handy when explaining things. I enjoy making things understandable and practical! I am easy to reach and respond quickly. Please contact me with any questions you may have or to schedule a lesson.
