About Gina

I have been a NJ certified teacher of English for 15 years and have taught several different subjects and grade levels. My experience includes working with middle school and high school students . Throughout the years I have developed courses to engage students in their learning. Courses were designed around 21st Century skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, and writing for a purpose. I have designed courses such as public speaking and debate class for middle school students. My love of education was the drive behind earning my doctorate degree in education. Through my doctoral study I was able to gain a better understanding of what our students need in today's learning environment and work towards preparing them for a successful future. My goal has always been to challenge my students to think about their learning and make it fun! I have also spent time tutoring and love the one-one-one time with students to help them gain an understanding of challenging material.
