Hi, my name is Alyssa, and I am a current third year medical student with an adoration for terrible puns and science. I promise to keep the bad puns to an absolute minimum though. I have some experience tutoring chemistry to underprivileged high school students, and I have spent my last five years completely immersed in science, studying biology at Rockhurst University and medicine at Kansas City University. Obviously, I love science and learning, but I also like to be able to share my knowledge with others. Medical school is a lot about taking large, complex topics and breaking them down to comprehensible bites, and my tutoring philosophy is to do just that. To take the subjects that you are struggling with and sizing them down to smaller bits that will allow you to understand the subject greater. I look forward to working with you!
