Hey yall! I played collegiate golf at East Carolina University, where I earned both my degrees. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations/Communications and a Master's Degree in Health Communication. After school, I became a Healthcare Administrator, and was an Executive Director of Skilled Nursing Facilities from 2009-2018. In 2018, I decided healthcare wasn't where my heart was, so I decided to pursue a career in education and learning. I've been passionate about my own education and learning since before I could read. Now, I'm so excited to be helping others in this field!
Currently, I teach Public Speaking and Communications at my local community college. I am an extensive reader, and do some keynote speaking for healthcare companies around NC. I also love running, biking, watching my husband compete in off-road triathlons, and hanging with my two amazing pups, Bean and PeeDee.
