I believe education is one the greatest opportunities a person can have in life. Sometimes, whether it's issues with the teacher, the way something is taught, or bad prior experiences, we are unable to perform to our highest potential academically. I believe in developing strong relationships with all students so my instruction can be culturally responsive and relevant. I believe in relating subjects to the real-world and presenting material in various ways. My expertise in teaching and tutoring is in the field of Mathematics at the high school and college level. I have taught and/or tutored: Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, A.P. Calculus, College Algebra, Multivariable Calculus I-III, Linear Algebra and Statistics. The thing I love most about Math is how creative you can be when it comes to the problem solving process. Whether you have questions on homework, need help studying for an upcoming test, or are trying to get a 36 on the ACT, I hope to be assistance to you!
