About Lauren

I am an experienced tutor with a M.A. in English Literature, a M.A. in Contemporary Communications, a B.A. in Philosophy and Psychology, and an A.S. in Equine Science. I began teaching at the college level in 2018 as an adjunct professor and work as a professional tutor in a university writing center.
As an academic, I have a strong publication record and have presented my research at some of the most competitive conferences in the US, UK, and India. My writing and research skills have been tested in some of the most rigorous academic settings and I have proven successful at the highest levels of academic research and writing.
As a tutor, I enjoy working with students to build writing skills through in-depth reviews of their written work. I have developed a repertoire of tutoring exercises to not only correct student errors but to provide students with the skills to write powerful essays on their own.
