About Briana

I have a BA in Literary Studies with a focus in creative non-fiction writing. I've published work of varying discourse for print and digital medias, ranging from journalistic (technical; newspaper) to editorial (stylized; blogs, literary journals). As a College Teaching Assistant, I honed the required skills for effective tutoring--active listening, critical thinking, and constructive critiquing--and developed a passion for helping others find their voice. Having a strong command of the Language Arts, concise communication skills, and knowledge of a range of academic and cultural topics, I'm able to tailor lesson plans and tutoring to the individual learner. I believe that everyone has the ability to craft a good story/article/essay/academic paper/thesis/play/short story/script...it's just a matter of finding the sweet spot between grammatical finesse and writing style!
