About Jonathan

I graduated from UCLA with a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry in 2014. I am currently studying Pharmacy in the PharmD program at University of Maryland, School of Pharmacy in Baltimore, MD (ranked #9 among all pharmacy programs!) so my specialties in teaching are anything science related (biology, chemistry, biochemistry, physics) and math (i can teach you calculus!).

I have more than 10 years of tutoring experience, starting way back in high school because it's always been a great passion of mine. Now, I just tutor on the side because it makes me happy and I greatly enjoy when I'm able to help a student understand a concept or problem they never really understood before.

Like all of the great tutors, my lessons are very adaptive to what the students needs and how they learn. I always like getting a baseline of where your at with your fundamentals and making those are strong enough for you to continue tackling that one problem or problems that you're having issues with. This is because I believe that once we establish those other concepts firmly in your arsenal, you will be able to tackle any problem you have! And in my experience, this helps the most in both the short term AND the long term.

My goal is to help YOU until you DO NOT NEED ME anymore. Once I get you to a comfort level and confidence level where you feel like you can succeed in the class without me - that is my goal!
