I am originally from Northern Vermont where I enjoy being outside and spending time with my family in friends. I have a Bachelors degree in Mathematics from the University of Rhode Island where I started as an engineer and finished with a mathematics degree in hopes to become a teacher.
I then went to the University of Vermont where I completed my Masters degree in Middle Level Education. I student taught at a very diverse (11 different first languages) middle school where I learned how teach a variety of different learners with my Mentor Teacher who won a national award for being the top Math/Science Middle School Teacher in Vermont.
Following my graduation in May of 2017, I took a 7/8 mathematics position in Marblehead, MA where I have begun my career I had always hoped for. I am also certified to teach Science and love both math and science equally!
