Hi, my name is Lexi! I have a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Masters in Elementary STEM Education from Tufts University. I have been teaching in elementary school for 2 years at a public charter school in Dorchester. I also have experience teaching in a high school and early education setting. While I was in college, I spent time tutoring students in English, German, math and science from elementary school to high school, though math is my passion and area of expertise! My goal is to make tutoring sessions and learning, something that is fun! I have a broad understanding of mathematics and teach with a conceptual outlook. By teaching concepts, my hope is that students will have a deeper understanding of the content they are learning rather than memorizing a procedure for how to solve problems. My ultimate goal is to help you in whatever academic endeavors you may have! I look forward to working with you.
