About Lisa

I am an experienced elementary school teacher who has taught grades K, 3, and 6. My speciality is Language Arts, but I also teach Math. Moreover, I have worked with many students with special needs. Some of the types of learning related issues I have worked with are auditory processing, Executive Functioning, Aspergers and behavioral concerns. I can create behavior support plans for parents to use at home with children who are having behavioral issues. I can create a PECS system for children on the Asperger Spectrum. For students with Executive Functioning issues, I can implement a variety of strategies to help them with organization. As a school Principal, I can help parents in gaining understanding of the educational system and how to advocate for their child.
