Hello,
My name is Tara. I have just moved back to America, after 19 years in London, England. While I was living in England, I was an Assistant Principal and English teacher at 2 high schools. For 13 years, I worked at a mixed school (girls and boys), where I taught English and was an Assistant Principal. For the past 6 years, I worked at an all boys high school, where I was also taught English and was an Assistant Principal.
I have a masters degree in Educational Leadership and Management for Warwick University, in England.
Now that I am back home, in America, I would like to continue to work with students and families. I have done private tuition for the past 7 years, and enjoy the one on one time with students. As an experienced educator and private tutor, I feel students learn best in small groups and/or in one to one settings.
I enjoy reading and encourage students of all ages to read. My favorite book is Little Woman.
