I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse in English (with an emphasis in rhetoric and writing) and Philosophy. In May 2017, I received my Master's degree from Harvard University in Religious Studies, concentrating in particular on the intersection of religion, ethics, and politics. Prior to starting graduate studies, I worked as a Communications Specialist for a tech start-up in Madison, WI. During this time, I also worked as a tutor, helping mostly high school students in the Madison area. While I am capable of tutoring anything within the humanities, I excel most as a tutor in English and writing. I have published several academic papers, won poetry contests and playwright awards, and I am a certified writer and editor for the International Association of Professional Writers and Editors.
But enough of the boring stuff! I love football. Born and raised in Wisconsin, you'll find me watching the Badgers on Saturdays and the Packers on Sundays. I think Aaron Rodgers is the best current quarterback, but I'm also willing to admit that Tom Brady just might be the G.O.A.T. I play the guitar, mostly acoustic, and dabble with a few other instruments as well. When it comes to my career, I have a broad range of talents and interests, so I'm taking a little time to figure out the next step. In the mean time, I have an open and flexible schedule, which will be easily adaptable to yours, and lots of free time to prepare for sessions so that you can get the absolute most out of our time together. I can work mornings, afternoons, or evenings - as long there's a bit of a heads up!
