About David

I obtained my MSc at the University of Edinburgh followed by three years working as teaching staff at the same institution.

Courses taught/tutored include: Proofs, Linear Algebra, Vector Calculus, Dynamics, Quantum Mechanics, Complex Variables, Honors Differential Equations, Advanced Methods of Applied Mathematics, Mathematical Biology, Facets of Mathematics (Image Processing, Elliptic Curves, Fractals, Dynamical Systems), Symmetries of Quantum Mechanics, Symmetries of Particles & Fields, and a few more.
Courses taken as student: General Relativity, Algebraic Geometry, Group Theory, Particle Physics, Differentiable Manifolds, Geometry of General Relativity, Relativistic Quantum Field Theory, Quantum Theory & Methods of Mathematical Physics.

Back in USA, I worked at the Mathematical Sciences Learning Center at UIC. I was a student there too and I earned my BSc with highest mathematics distinction (GPA 4.0).

Courses tutored: Abstract Algebra, Analysis, Calculus, College Algebra, Differential Equations, etc.
Courses taken: Number Theory, Cryptography, Electricity & Magnetism, Introduction to Advanced Mathematics, etc.

Finally, I studied and worked at ECC where I tutored all undergraduate mathematics courses including Computer Science for Engineers & Astronomy.

Mathematics & Physics are like languages in the sense that they have to be practiced on a regular basis in order to master them. They are considered by many quite challenging but with enough dedication and patience one can be able to understand their beautiful logic.
I have a flexible variety of teaching methods, I can create an appropriate plan either for the student who is trying too hard or for the one who wants a deeper knowledge of a subject. At the same time, I can offer classes in English or Spanish.

"The study of mathematics, like the Nile, begins in minuteness but ends in magnificence."
-Charles Caleb Colton
