About Mary

The at-home-classroom is where not only formal education begins, but the love of learning is formed. Every child has the right to be taught in a way in which they are afforded the opportunity to observe and interact with core subjects. Students should be engaged during the lesson that they will be inspired further investigations and explorations into the content.

As an educator to young scholars I find it important to emphasize passion, determination, empathy and kindness in the tutoring setting. It is principle to model these traits starting with my own approach to learning and behavior management techniques.

I find it important to recognize that, in many circumstances, school is a source of stability and safety for many students. It is a place where students deserve to be encouraged and given the space to grow emotionally, socially, academically, and physically with their individuality in mind. With differentiated assignments and seating I believe I not only have a vision to provide these opportunities but also have a dedication and duty to follow through.
