I am a certified math teacher with over 25 years of experience working with students from elementary school through college. I have Master's degree in Mathematics and Education also. I am very comfortable teaching different age groups and enjoy working with students one-on-one. One-on-one teaching helps me understand their strengths and weaknesses. I try to listen to my students' needs and evaluate that first, and then based on that I provide support, guidance, and encouragement to students on issues regarding their progress in education. I am very consistent and patient with students.
As a tutor, my strength lies in supporting, motivating and encouraging students along with teaching them the importance of discipline and staying focused on studies. I have noticed that for some students the actual problem is not the subject/curriculum, they need help with time management and study skills. I try to teach students how to learn better and faster by managing their time efficiently and by organizing how they study.
