Tutoring is how I first discovered my love of teaching. Even though I now teach full time in Denver, I still really love the experience of working one-on-one with students and seeing how quickly they grow! I have been working as an education professional for 14 years and as a tutor for even longer.
I spent 11 years in special education (teaching students with autism) and, after a career change, I am now in my third year of teaching high school math. In the past 3 years, I have taught Geometry, Algebra II, Integrated Math III, Precalculus, AP Calculus, Probability and Statistics, Financial Algebra, and SAT Prep. It’s been a busy 3 years, but all of that hard work has made me a very versatile math teacher and tutor!
Additionally, I have several years of experience tutoring in English Language Arts and Writing, French, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Test Preparation, and General Study Skills.
