I am an engineer with a company near Fort Collins and a former Arizona middle school math teacher. I am constantly working to learn new teaching methods and techniques.
I started tutoring when I was 16 years old helping my younger brother learn algebra. While a student at Embry-Riddle, I continued tutoring in Calculus and Physics. I love seeing the light bulb moments when a student comprehends a subject that they thought would be impossible to grasp.
My teaching method combines auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learning to help with comprehension and retention. With five years of experience as a design engineer and fabricator, I constantly break down abstract concepts into concrete examples and analogies.
