I have a teaching license from the state of Colorado in English Language Arts 7th-12th grade and I have been mastering the art of helping students "get" English concepts---from writing, to ACT, SAT, and literature---for seven years. I've taught at various levels (7th-12th) and have been told by my students that I can explain complex concepts to them in a way that helps them understand and grow. I get the most satisfaction from seeing a student achieve his or her goals, and am skilled in delivering the right instruction to get them there. As part of the English teaching team at the school where I teach, I have contributed to raising our ACT/SAT writing scores for the past two years. I have also had success with tutoring individual students on a one-on-one basis, helping them gain as many as ten points on the ACT.

I have experience teaching ACT English, ACT Reading, English literature, SAT Reading, SAT Writing, and writing.
