Hi there! I was born and raised in Texas, where I began learning Spanish in Kindergarten. I continued in an accelerated program, and in high school I was the President of the National Spanish Honor Society, where I started a program training Austin Police Department officers in Spanish and graduated in the top 2% of my class. I then majored in Spanish at USC, where I studied abroad in Madrid and graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, with a double major in Theater.
I have been tutoring off and on for over 10 years (one of those through Academic Advantage) and babysitting for over half my life. I was a camp counselor at a Jewish Summer Camp, and I absolutely love being around kids. For the past year, I have provided weekly homework help to an Honors 6th-grader in Math, English, and Spanish. I can also read and write Hebrew, so I'm happy to help with that, too. I'm obsessed with correct grammar, and-- being an enthusiastic, energetic person myself-- I try to make my sessions as upbeat as possible! I look forward to working with you. :)
