Hi, I'm Jack!

After graduating from Purdue University as a Creative Writing major in 2015, I have continued to hone my passion for the written word as a published poet and script reader at Gulfstream Pictures.

While in college I worked as a tutor for two years, assisting a bright young high school student who was on the Autism spectrum. While writing was not Phillip's favorite subject, I was able to help him understand the mechanics of writing essays and demystify the sometimes arduous process of creating simplified outlines, adhering to five paragraph structure, and avoiding common grammar mistakes. Although English was our primary focus, I also helped Phillip excel in the subjects of Algebra, History, Science, and French. By the end of our time together, Phillip's grades had improved dramatically, especially his grade in English which had risen from a C to an A.
