As a graduate of UC Berkeley and San Diego State University, I have developed a lifelong love of learning and teaching. I especially enjoy seeing my students find ease in learning concepts that they initially had found to be challenging.
One of my primary objectives is to help my students to understand the real world applications of mathematics and statistics to daily life - current events, personal finance, problem solving, daily tasks, engineering, and countless others. When students learn how fun the applications can be, the subject can become very engaging and may not seem so abstract or theoretical. I strive to teach students to break down difficult problems into bite size pieces and to think methodically, logically, and analytically.
I am extremely patient at tutoring a concept and my style is flexible and accommodating. I specialize in tutoring Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Statistics, and I am generally available for tutoring daily from 10am - 9pm. I look forward to helping you to achieve success in mathematics!
