About Darryl

Most Classroom teachers don't have the time or the materials to
teach Math in a way that works for their students. They were always
"good" at math and can't relate to those students who "don't get it."
I can.

I have taught regular classes in
Basic Math/Pre-Algebra/Algebra/Geometry/Pre-Calculus/Statistics

I am available to a small group of private students who
want to excel at Math and finally conquer their fear of it.

IN-HOME TUTORING (or Starbucks, Library) or Online

*****Despite what most people think, Mathematics is not magical !*****

Math is not something some people either "get" or "don't get"--
If it is broken down, explained step-by-step, and carefully practiced,
Math is understandable and manageable.

Isn't it time you conquered you dislike and/or fear of Math?

That's what I do--
I make Mathematics understandable;
in a way my students remember and can relate to.

I have 90 minute sessions available for parents of homeschooling, regular, or college students.
Through many years of teaching privately, I have found that one hour sessions are simply
not enough time for students to really understand and make progress. Once a student "warms up"
- at around 45 minutes--it doesn't make sense to arbitrary end their session at 60 minutes--
so all my sessions are 90 minutes for maximum benefit.

****Credentialed teacher--Multiple Subject/Elementary and Single Subject/Mathematics** ***
*******Instructional Aide Certificate/Phonics Mathematics*******CLAD Credential*****

My experience has been as a Full-time, Credentialed Teacher in Elementary, Middle School,
and High School teacher. As an undergraduate, I was a Math tutor on staff at Golden West
College (Huntington Beach) and University of California, Riverside.

I know what it was like to not understand math and I know how to fix it.

One-on-one teaching in:

Basic Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus

Mathematics is the basis for more than 91 major occupations and a major stumbling
block for those attending college.

Don't let you, or those you care about, fall behind--catch-up now.

If you or your child doesn't understand math, blame the teacher !

25 years experience

Elementary, Middle School, High School, and College Levels.
I am available to help you. Resume available upon request.
My students were at the top of their high school classes (not just A's--A+s)
at the best schools in Orange County (Irvine and Huntington Beach)

Thank You for reading my ad and considering me. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
