I am pleased to be presented to you for consideration as a tutor. I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and a minor in Spanish from Southern University A&M College. I am currently in the process of completing a master’s degree in student counseling from Liberty University. My strengths are in all elementary level subjects, reading, writing, as well as in Spanish. Having a strong passion for learning and teaching along with my teaching experience, I am confident in my ability to be a valuable asset to your school.
My experience as a teacher as well as my other experiences with children has geared me toward aspirations of the empowerment of students from grades Kindergarten through eighth grade. I have a strong passion to educate young minds and help them grow into becoming well rounded, responsible, and successful citizens.
While being and educator I have worked at various schools in and out of the United States. I worked as a Spanish teacher for three years in Washington State in a k-8 setting. I have also been a teacher in grades Kindergarten, 2nd, and 5th. My previous experience as a tutor has allowed me to assist students on a one on one level to help them cultivate basic skills necessary to succeed.
Currently I am working as a School Counselor Intern as well as a substitute teacher. This position enables me to provide students with support in the areas of social, personal, and academics. I have been challenged to be creative, nurturing, patient and flexible.
