Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 tutor

I have a Bachelors Degree from USC where I studied Statistics as well as Theatre. While that may seem like an unusual combination, I think it has given me a bit of an edge when it comes to tutoring. Over the last three years, I have been able to incorporate my creative side in my tutoring to find new and interesting ways to connect with my students. For example, I once used selected songs from the Hamilton soundtrack to help an 8th grade student with her Constitutional Convention project. Fun and educational! I am qualified to tutor all ages, but my specialties are SAT/ACT prep, Middle/High school Mathematics, English and Middle/High school Spanish. My mission is to help my students not only understand difficult concepts but also enjoy them sometimes (ideally all the time, but if I can get sometimes, I'm happy).
