I'm going to be honest - science was never my best subject in high school. I often thought it was confusing, complicated, and hard to make sense of. Even though I struggled, I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, and chose to major in the subjects of biology and chemistry because I wanted to find a way to make them easier for my students to understand and be less intimidated by. Because that's what they used to be for me: intimidating. I'd be nervous and second-guess myself, get horrible anxiety before quizzes or tests, and could never fully grasp what my teachers were trying to explain. I made it my mission to help students of all learning styles succeed and make easier what they once thought was hard.
