Welcome! I'm a graduate student working towards my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a test-prep specialist, tutoring the GRE, SAT, and ACT. I'm also a published writer, excellent editor, and am committed to the success of those I work with.
My students are guaranteed relaxed and enjoyable sessions filled with patience, motivation, and a commitment to their goals. With 10+ years of tutoring experience, I consider myself an expert and have had the pleasure of helping my students realize their potential and see drastic increases in their test scores and overall confidence.
My goal is to teach you how to approach every question type, recognize exactly what is being asked, and know how to break down each problem into manageable steps. Regardless of where you are in the process, (whether you've just decided to apply for graduate school or college and know nothing about standardized testing, have already taken the exam but not yet reached your target score, or somewhere in between) I guarantee that by test day, you'll feel confident and prepared to answer every question that you're presented.
My personal journey has included dedication, many hours of study, and a realization that enjoying the process to reach one’s goals and understanding the importance of work-life balance play a critical role in our overall success. Although I'm very friendly, my style of tutoring is focused on effectiveness, efficiency, and taking your test prep to the next level. I take my position as a tutor very seriously and enjoy working with motivated students. I look forward to working together to help you achieve success!

I’ve always been a below average student in Math, but I had to get at least a 150 on the Quant section of the GRE to get into grad school. I worked with Adam once a week for 2 months and met my mark, earning a 155 on the test! I still hate Math, but working with Adam made it tolerable. He was a really funny person, but also strategic about how we spent our time together. I definitely feel like working with Adam gave me the biggest bang for my buck.2 years ago
My 16 year old son has been tutoring with Adam for almost a year (since March 2016.) My son has always been a below-average student and has gone through a few different tutors including an extensive commercial tutoring company. My son has improved dramatically over the last year, improving his GPA from a 2.1 to 3.0. at the end of the last academic year.2 years ago
Adam helped me with preparing for a test and had answers to all my questions. He really knows his information and he is your man if you have a test coming up!2 years ago
I took the GRE last year and got in the 52nd percentile on the Verbal section. The graduate program which I wanted to attend required a minimum of the 70th percentile to apply. I heard about Adam through a classmate and decided to work with him. Within 2 sessions, I was already seeing an improvement in my practice scores, and after a month of test prep, I had exceeded the required range. I ended up scoring in the 82nd percentile on the actual exam. Adam was very fun to work with, energetic, and motivating. I put my trust in him, and it absolutely paid off.2 years ago
