My teaching concentration focuses on junior high school reading, reading comprehension, writing, literature, and English spelling and grammar. I was a homeschooler to both my children. One graduated high school with a 4.2 GPA and the other passed the CA High School Exit Exam while in the tenth grade. Currently, one is studying to be a math teacher and the other a welder. In addition to tutoring, I am a professional Abstract Artist and Sculptress. My teaching style parallels that of the Whole Child Approach; using the material in conjunction with the student's individuality to produce clarity of the subject by the student along with an understanding of how the material applies to everyday life for the student.
