Hello, my name is Patrick. I am a high school biology teacher, and I tutor on the side. Teaching is my passion, and I love seeing my students achieve their learning goals. I can help you understand and improve your grade in all levels of high school biology, as well as general chemistry. Much of my tutoring time has been spent helping students prepare for the AP Biology and SAT Biology exams.
I have been a certified WA state teacher with a masters in education since 1999. During this time I have taught primarily high school biology (both regular and AP levels) in Washington and California. I have also taught regular Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology, Physical Science, Environmental Science, and Nutrition. I have been tutoring students one-on-one since 2010.
During our tutoring sessions, I will be helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. I will meet you where you are, and make sure that you understand those difficult concepts and are prepared for those challenging tests.
I teach both in person and online. In person, I teach in greater Los Angeles and west LA. On weekends, I am happy to travel to the San Fernando Valley, south LA, or east LA.
