Hi there! I graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in gender studies Summa Cum Laude with honors. As someone who has learning disabilities academics were never easy for me. I always felt that there was something inherently wrong with me that I did not understand material the same way as 'everyone else.' A tutor once told me that there was absolutely nothing wrong me with. It was just that I learned DIFFERENTLY. Every student absorbs information uniquely and deserves the same time and dedication from teachers as a student puts forth in their school work. Since then, I have made it my mission with every student I tutor to teach them how to utilize their strengths to conquer their academic challenges.
