I have a Masters Degree in Media and a Bachelors in International Relations. I have 9+ years of tutoring experience, with students ranging from 6 years old to post graduate. I specialize in reading and writing tutoring, particularly for those who English may not be their best subject or even first language. I have worked for 2+ years with Pearson Education as a tutor and I know how to produce mark-ups without doing all the work for the student, but rather prompt them to produce their absolute best. I speak English and Japanese.

I had been studying Chinese in school for a semester, but I thought it was too hard so I switched to Japanese. Tiffany told me this would get tricky because she thought Japanese was harder, but she still agreed to help me out with Kaiwa (conversation). My Japanese professor recommended Tiffany because she had lived in Japan and studied at a Japanese university there. Her pronunciation is absolutely perfect, and I was hoping it would rub off on me. She wasn't kidding, Japanese was hard too! I thought it would be easier to pronounce, but there were just some sounds my mouth couldn't make. She stuck with me and was a great Kaiwa partner. My professor said I had improved so much! And when I had to stand up in front of class and carry on a conversation with the professor, I wasn't even nervous. Tiffany was just the greatest! I could not have asked for a better Kaiwa partner and Japanese tutor.a year ago
I had to take some hard sociology and psychology classes. I am a pretty smart student and did well on the tests, but I couldn't convey my thoughts on paper as well. Tiffany worked with me on several essays for both classes, helping me find ways to correct myself. I don't think I could have passed without her help on writing.a year ago
Tiffany was the best tutor. I had a distance learning class for American Literature. It was hard, because I wasn't sure of how to do it on the computer. She helped me figure it out. She also took the time to sit with me and answered any questions I had about the books or short stories I had been assigned to read. She was such a darling to help me out. I highly recommend her as a tutor.a year ago
I am a international student from China. My English is not always the best for understanding the class. I was in graduate school. It was required that we take a history class, but it was really hard because I couldn't find the books we had to use in Chinese. Tiffany helped to slowly breakdown what we were doing in class and the books in English to help me understand. I am grateful to her for this. It was a really hard class for me.a year ago
