Hey there!

I am a private tutor for writing, advanced humanities, college and audition prep, as well as general subjects for middle/elementary age students! I have been tutoring for over four years and it is definitely the highlight of my day!

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA in Spring 2018, and served as my class Valedictorian and student commencement speaker!  I received my B.A. in Theater and History.  My senior year I was awarded the True Bruin Distinguished Senior Award and Scholarship.  During my time at UCLA I was also awarded the Jack Nicholson Prize in Acting, The George Burns and Grace Allen Scholarship and Fellowship, the UCLA Theater, Film, and Television Acting Scholarship and Fellowship, and was part of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

Tutor/Teaching Experience:

During college, I volunteered at "Young Story Tellers," a program that pairs mentors with 5th graders to help the learn the elements of storytelling and develop their own 5-page screenplays.  There, I worked one-on-one with several 5th graders on honing their creativity and writing skills!  I fell in love with teaching and have worked as a tutor ever since.  Since graduating UCLA, I have worked as an after-school elementary school tutor with a third grader and fifth grader on their reading comprehension and writing skills.  I have worked with a high school freshman on her study skills, reading comprehension, and essay writing.  I have tutored all Reading/Writing sections of the SAT one-on-one.  I have assisted both high school and college students in their research papers and term papers.  I have also worked briefly as an ESL tutor for both children and adults, helping them with their accents, comprehension, and day-to-day necessities.
