Hello! I'm a graduate from Purdue University with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. I ran a personal tutoring business for five years during my time in college. I tutored eight families and eleven students ranging from ages 3-40. Although my specialty was tutoring English to Japanese families and one Russian family, I also taught mathematics to a junior in high school. I love tutoring and am passionate about education. I've had many unique and valuable teaching opportunities, including teaching 6th graders on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. My teaching motto is making concepts relatable to the student. Students have a better understanding of what they're learning when they're motivated and enthusiastic; that's where I can help! I try to make tutoring sessions as relatable and enjoyable for the student as possible. When a student feels confident and supported, they do great!
