As a life-long learner, I bring a wide-range of academic, cultural, social, and process-related skills to my educational approach. I value adapting to the needs of each individual through a thorough engagement with the personality and needs of every student I work with. I love the educational process--teaching and learning. The enthusiasm with which I unfurl various subjects allows for even the most disinterested students to find something to be curious about. During the weekdays, I teach theatre and physical education at an elementary-age charter school in South LA. I am comfortable working with all ages from TK/K through college-level. Although my specialty is literature and writing, I am also fluent in math and some sciences.
