LSAT and TOEFL tutor

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Psychology. I graduated cum laude, with honors, with a cumulative gpa of 3.84. Also, during my undergrad at CSUN, I earned my TESOL/TEFL certification, for the purpose of teaching English as a second language. I began tutoring international college students shortly after graduating, and also tutored a high school student, as well as American college students. I successfully completed one year of law school, and decided not to return, so that I could go back to work. So, in addition to having experience with law school, I also have extensive experience with the LSAT, and am able to tutor test preparation for the LSAT.
Recently, I started working for a company that uses an on-line platform to teach English to children between the ages of 5 and 11. Additionally, I continue to tutor English to adults from outside the U.S.
While my area of expertise is in the English language, specifically: writing, reading comprehension, speaking and listening, my greatest strength, in English, is perhaps my ability to write well. During my undergrad, I wrote numerous papers that were among the best in my class, and on several occasions my Professor submitted my essays to writing competitions. Also, during my time at CSUN I worked as a tutor for my Professor, assisting his students with their individual and group essays. Additionally, I wrote an op-ed article in the Daily Sundial, the student newspaper at CSUN. Furthermore, I am also familiar with Psychology, and was a top performer in several of my Psychology classes. So I am confident in my ability to help students prepare for exams in the area of Psychology.
My goal as a tutor is to listen carefully to the needs of my clients, and to prepare meaningful lessons based on their goals. My strengths as a tutor is that I am extremely patient, diligent, and focused on assisting my client in being the best student possible!
